You and I like ghosts now
We both live in a ghost town
Don't even sleep in the same bed
I talk too much to fill silence
Fill up my head with what's been said
You like to mumble under your breath
This is just madness
Who wants to talk about love when it all goes wrong
Better to sit in the dark then turn the lights on
But I remember when you'd rush home
Now you stay late and I'll wait all alone
Who wants to talk about love when it's all gone
Now it's all gone
In amongst letters and problems
Ooh I found that I lost him
It's okay it don't hurt anymore but
I can't live so vacant
And if I left it'd break him
He loves me, but it's her he adores
Who wants to talk about love when it all goes wrong
Better to sit in the dark then turn the lights on
And I remember when you'd rush home
Now you stay late and I'll wait all alone
Who wants to talk about love when it's all gone
Now it's all gone
Now I pray in the cold water
Waiting for a revelation to come up
You've gone and pushed this little lady far too much
You better stand back before I erupt
Who wants to talk about love when it all goes wrong
Better to sit in the dark then turn the lights on
And I remember when you'd rush home
Now you stay late and I'll wait all alone
Who wants to talk about love when it's all gone
Now it's all gone
