Hate Eternal is a death metal band from Saint Petersburg, Florida. Founded in 1997 by guitarist Erik Rutan, the band quickly gained fame for its brutal and technical sound, influenced by groups like Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse. Rutan, also known for his collaborations with various other metal bands, was the only stable member of the group until 2015.
