È noto soprattutto per la sua attività come bassista, cantante e compositore all'interno dei gruppi heavy metal Sinner e Primal Fear, quest'ultimo fondato da lui stesso nel 1997. Prima di dedicarsi completamente alla musica, Sinner ha lavorato come tecnico audio in un negozio di strumenti musicali. La sua carriera musicale è iniziata negli anni '80 con la formazione del gruppo Sinner, che ha ottenuto un discreto successo nell'ambito dell'heavy metal europeo. Nel 1997, dopo una pausa dalla scena musicale, Sinner ha fondato i Primal Fear, band che ha raggiunto un grande successo internazionale grazie a album come "Primal Fear" (1998) e "Nuclear Fire" (2000).
