Lyrics You are that special one Marvin Gaye

 SOUL/R&B

You are that special one

Special one
You are that special one
You're that special one
You are that special one
Oh, that special one
Sugar, sugar that special one
Oh, that special one, yeah that special one

There's something about the way you walk (Walk!)
And there's something about the way you talk (Talk!)

When I saw you sitting there on the shelf (Shelf!)
I knew I have to had you for myself (Self!)
I only met you yesterday
But as strange as it seems
You answered all my prayers
You're the girl of my dreams. (That special one)
Oh I can't deny. (You are that special one)
The one that caught my eye

You are my special one, Lord knows, baby
Oh baby! Ooh!
Something about the way you look;
To describe her, I'd have to write myself a book
Oh baby! Oh! Something about the things you do
Oh! That has won my confidence in you, girl
Mama told me, someday someone would set my soul on fire
Now I'm burning up, burning up... Wooh! Burning with desire
I'm burning up, burning up. Hey baby!

Come here baby
Wooh! Oh! yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh! Ain't nobody sweeter
And only heaven knows how much I need you, girl
Sugar, I want you to understand
I place my whole life in your loving hands

There's something about the way that I feel
That makes me know that my love is real
Oh, you're that special one
Sugar, sugar that special one
Woah that special one
Wooh, my special one
Yeah, that special one
Special one
You are so special, honey
[Repeat and fade out]

Thank you because you correct this lyrics

Biografia

Marvin Gaye, born Marvin Pentz Gay Jr. (Washington D.C., April 2, 1939 – Los Angeles, April 1, 1984), was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and arranger widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in soul and R and B music. He began his career as a gospel singer in the 1950s before joining Motown Records in 1961. With his smooth and melodic vocals, Gaye's songs often explored themes of love, war, social justice, and personal struggles, resonating with audiences worldwide. Among his most celebrated hits are "Let's Get It On", "Sexual Healing", "What's Going On", and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". The latter, a duet with Tammi Terrell, became an anthem of hope and unity. Gaye received numerous accolades, including six Grammy Awards, and his album "What's Going On" is considered a masterpiece of soul music. His life was marked by personal turmoil and addiction issues, culminating in the tragic murder of his father by Marvin himself in 1984.
