Warrant is an American hard rock and glam metal band active since 1984. The most famous and successful lineup of the group included Jani Lane (vocals), Erik Turner (guitar), Jerry Dixon (bass), Joey Allen (guitar) and Steven Sweet (drums). Their debut album, *Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich*, released in 1989, achieved commercial success thanks to the single "Down Boys". Their second album, *Cherry Pie* (1990), went platinum in the United States and spawned three hit singles: "Cherry Pie", "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and "I Saw Red".
