Karlito Akastoca, real name Carlo Santi, is a rapper from Martina Franca (TA), Italy, born in the late 1990s. He developed a passion for music at a young age, starting as a DJ in his hometown. Over time, he gravitated towards rap, influenced by timeless classics of the American scene, from Tupac to Eminem, including Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent. Subsequently, he explored the Italian scene, finding inspiration in artists like Neffa, Club Dogo, and Cor Veleno. After a decade-long hiatus, during the 2020 lockdown, a friend encouraged him to return to writing on original beats. Since then, Karlito Akastoca has continued to produce new tracks with remarkable authorial finesse, successfully blending his artistic imagination with his personal experiences.
