Karlito Akastoca, pseudonimo di Carlo Santi, è un rapper originario di Martina Franca (TA), nato alla fine degli anni '90. Sin da giovane si appassiona alla musica, iniziando a suonare come DJ nella sua città. Con il passare del tempo, si avvicina al rap, influenzato dagli intramontabili classici della scena americana, da Tupac a Eminem, passando per Snoop Dogg e 50 Cent. Successivamente esplora la scena italiana, trovando ispirazione in artisti come Neffa, Club Dogo e Cor Veleno. Dopo circa dieci anni di pausa, durante il lockdown del 2020, un amico lo incoraggia a tornare alla scrittura su beat originali.
