Mauro Antonio Repetto (Milan, March 27, 1965) is an Italian songwriter and composer. Known for being one of the founders of the musical group 883, alongside Max Pezzali, he contributed to the creation of some of the most famous songs in Italian music of the 1990s. Repetto composed the music and wrote the lyrics for many 883 hits, including "They Killed Spider-Man", "North South East West", "Why?" and "The Land of Persimmons". After leaving the group in 1994, Repetto continued to work as a composer for other artists and released some solo albums. Among his recent works are soundtracks for films and television series.
