Gioac, whose real name is Matteo Gioacchini, is an Italian rapper born in Rome in 2000. He was introduced to the world of art from a young age thanks to his father, a musician passionate about rock and pop, and his mother, a painter. At the age of 8, he discovered rap thanks to his older sister, and at 16, he began writing his first lyrics. At 17, he dropped out of school to work as a waiter and dishwasher, earning his first money while continuing to cultivate his passion for music. At 18, he released his first mini EP titled "SMS/Stato Mentale Sociale/". After an experience in Australia that helped him grow both personally and artistically, he returned to Italy and released the tracks "G Non Ha" and "Vendicami" on all digital platforms, which allowed him to gain recognition from the general public. In 2021, he signed with Red Owl Records, a sublabel of Visory Records, Thaurus editions, releasing the track "Non so bene", written during a period of transition and difficult choices. The song aims to convey the importance of following one's own instinct and heart, listening to others' advice but deciding based on what one feels inside.
