Valentina Pasanisi, known professionally as Kalliope, La Sciocca, was born in Casarano (Lecce), Italy on February 23, 1989. From a young age, she showed a keen musical sensibility, listening with passion to the diverse genres of music her father enjoyed and singing for relatives and friends. Her passion for music intensified as she grew up, influenced by artists like Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nina Simone, who became the soundtrack to her days. Her dream was to become a singer, a desire that led her to take singing lessons in 2010, overcoming shyness and doubts about her voice. In 2011, she moved to Milan with her family, enriching her musical culture by attending music festivals. In 2013, she recorded her first single, "Fragile", a song that blends writing and music, her two great loves. To make herself known, she uses social networks, particularly Facebook (Kalliope, La Sciocca) and YouTube, where the videoclip of "Fragile" reaches 40,000 views. Her voice, unique in the Italian panorama, is characterized by a soul and jazz essence, influenced by her musical passions. After "Fragile", she releases two more singles: "Istabile" and "Niente al Mondo".
