Lazzaro Zani, known as Layz, is an Italian rapper born in Cesena in 1993. His passion for Italian music, particularly rap, led him to explore the importance of words and their placement within a musical text. For Layz, writing represents a way to express what he finds difficult to communicate with words. His artistic journey began in 2020 with the release of three singles: "Nel profondo", "Portami su" and "Caro Prezzo". In 2021, his debut album, "Lazzaro", was released, preceded by the single of the same name. The album is a journey of introspection in which Layz opens up honestly about his secrets, fears and difficult experiences that have marked his growth. The 14 tracks are produced by prominent artists from the Italian underground scene such as Chryverde, KD-ONE, Omake and Dj Fastcut. In 2022, Layz continues to impress with the single "Mille sbagli", which has been added to rotation on Rai Radio2indie and RTL 102.5 Bro.
