Biography

Ninfea, whose real name is Asia Strangis, was born in Lamezia Terme (CZ), Italy on August 28, 2004. Music has been a constant presence in her life since she was young: she started singing at the age of seven thanks to the local choir and developed an innate passion for music as a means of expression and healing. She trained in both classical and pop singing through private lessons and at fourteen, she debuted as a songwriter. The following year, she began studying piano independently. In 2020, after moving with her family to Volano (TN), she collaborated with Maestro R. Ricciari, a composer and producer, recording her first melodic pop songs. She eventually found her ideal expression in pop-rock. Ninfea's sweet but incisive voice, combined with the maturity of her compositions, allows her to capture the attention of both audiences and industry professionals. She participates in numerous singing competitions, reaching prestigious finals such as the Tour Music Fest 2019 and the Trofeo Nilla Pizzi 2020. In 2020, she won the Festival Voci D'Oro for best original song and participated in a training program at the C.E.T. of Mogol. In 2020, her first official release, "A testa alta", was released, followed in 2021 by the single "Mumbai", whose music video garnered over 15,000 views in just a few weeks. Ninfea continues to grow both as an artist and as a person, transforming every musical experience into a new creative spark. Her production boasts high-quality songs and a vast repertoire of unreleased tracks ready to be published, some of which feature the renowned Archimia String Quartet (who previously collaborated with Elisa on her 2019 tour). In 2021, her third single "Ad occhi aperti" was released, a pop-rock song that confirms her vocal talent and artistic maturity. Thanks to her dedication, hard work, and passion for music, Ninfea is recognized as one of the brightest stars in the new Italian female songwriting scene.
