I No Longer Player sono un trio rock romagnolo nato nel 2014 e composto da Cristian D'Emilio, Luca Staccoli e Federico Bertuccioli, a cui subentra, successivamente, Eugenio Borgia. La band ha saputo distinguersi nel panorama musicale italiano grazie ad una combinazione unica di impegno filantropico e versatilità artistica. La loro musica, un suggestivo incrocio tra influenze cosmopolite ed uno spirito autenticamente italiano, nasce da esperienze di viaggio e permanenze in Europa, in particolare nelle città di Berlino e Dublino, che hanno lasciato un segno indelebile nella loro cifra stilistica e nel cuore pulsante della loro arte. Dopo aver conquistato pubblico e critica con il mini EP d'esordio "Now Here, Nowhere", il gruppo ha esplorato nuovi orizzonti musicali con il debutto in italiano "Buonanotte alle aspettative" ed il successivo ritorno all'inglese con "Sleeping with Ghost". Nel 2019 e nel 2021, i No Longer Player hanno dato vita al "Resto a Casa Tour" e al "Torno a Casa Tour", due progetti che, unendo musica e bicicletta, hanno attraversato l'Italia ed attraverso l'Italia, sostenuto la ricerca sul cancro. Combinando passione e azioni concrete, la band, in collaborazione con lo IOR - Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo, ha raccolto fondi preziosi e sensibilizzato l'opinione pubblica sulla lotta contro questa malattia, dimostrando così il loro impegno nel trasformare l'arte in un mezzo per il cambiamento sociale. Nel gennaio 2024, i No Longer Player firmano con Watt Musik e Benvenuto Edizioni, e pubblicano "Almond Tumblr Man", brano prodotto da Alberto Melloni che rivoluziona l'indie rock italiano con una riuscitissima metafora tra i piccioni tombolieri, che nel tentativo di conquistare il partner si esibiscono in capriole mortali, rischiando tutto per un solo momento di gloria, e l'essere umano moderno, che spesso si smarrisce nel desiderio di piacere e piacersi, perdendo la propria identità morale ed ideologica. Continuando a portare avanti il verbo del rock n' roll in un mix di energia, empatia, carisma ed impegno sociale, i No Longer Player rimangono fedeli al loro stile unico, coniugando il fascino nostalgico del rock degli anni '90 ad una sensibilità moderna e riflessiva.
