Osso, whose real name is Ossama Addahre, is an Italian artist of Moroccan origin born in Castiglione Delle Stiviere (MN) on May 17, 1992. Raised with Arabic music thanks to his parents, who were born in Morocco and moved to Italy towards the end of the 1980s, at the age of 11 he learned to play the guitar by himself and started recording his voice while singing. Fascinated by Chab Khaled's melodies, growing up he became passionate about Chris Brown's impeccable technique. In 2011 he participated in Studio 2M, the most followed televised singing contest in Morocco, during which he was known and appreciated by both the public and critics, reaching the quarter-finals. Back in Italy, he graduated and in 2013 presented himself at X-Factor with his colleague Mr. Rain. Between 2014 and 2017, he put his professional career on hold to graduate in Arts, Music and Performing Arts. Stronger than ever, in 2018 he collaborated and performed with Mr. Rain the song “Superstite” and worked on new solo projects experimenting with styles and sounds. In 2019 he challenged himself again at Coca-Cola Future Legend, the music battle captained by prominent figures of the Italian music scene, such as Irama, Emis Killa, Annalisa and Charlie Charles. During the pandemic, Osso released five singles: “Tempesta Tropicale”, “Modalità Aereo”, “Dylan Dog”, “Souvenir” and “PCASDM”. In the summer of 2022, he landed on digital stores with “Habiba”, a flawless blend of languages, sounds and cultures that fuses the magnetism of Arabic music with the emphasis and passion typical of Europe, reaffirming the eclecticism of his Art and the transversality of his pen.
