Samuel Mele (Castrignano de' Greci, 1995) è un musicista, autore e compositore italiano. Dopo aver studiato Etnomusicologia e Musicoterapia, si dedica alla musica con particolare attenzione all'oud, al ney e alla chitarra. Autodidatta per la teoria musicale e le tecniche di composizione, ha perfezionato il suo stile sotto la guida di maestri come Ross Daly, Kelly Thoma, Peppe Frana, Christos Barbas e Lamia Yared. Le sue esperienze formative lo hanno portato a viaggiare tra Italia e Grecia, partecipando a Labyrinth Musical Workshop a Creta dove si appassiona alla musica cretese e alla composizione modale. Nel 2024 partecipa ad una residenza promossa da Culture Moves Europe e Goethe Institut. La sua ricerca musicale è profondamente influenzata dalla sua esperienza con la International School of Self Awareness, fondata da Patrizio Paoletti, che lo ha guidato in un percorso di auto-scoperta. Nel 2023 vince il bando Per Chi Crea della SIAE per la produzione del suo primo album “Il Santo Sforzo di capire cosa sia l’Amore”, edito da Nauna Cantieri Musicali con la produzione artistica di Valerio Daniele. Il progetto è stato anche selezionato dal bando per la Promozione Progetti Discografici dal Vivo promosso da Nuovo Imaie, sotto la cura di Claudio Prima. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi: “La Danza del Sole”, “Ombra e Luce”, “Il Canto della Luna”.
