Vasco Barbieri è un compositore e filosofo italiano nato il 6 agosto 1985. Dopo un coma nel 1993, che lo riportò allo stato iniziale, la musica divenne per lui un rifugio sicuro. A sette anni, a causa di gravi danni alla vista, si avvicinò al pianoforte eseguendo ad orecchio "Caruso" di Lucio Dalla. A nove anni studiò in una Music School nell'Ohio, scoprendo la musica classica. Successivamente frequentò l'Actor Studio di Roma, convincendosi che la realtà sociale fosse un gioco di ruoli e maschere. Si laureò in Filosofia nel 2013 e lavorò come Web Designer, esibendosi in locali romani. Venne notato dalla regista Sibilla Barbieri, che lo presentò a Maqueta Records. L'etichetta pubblicò i suoi primi singoli "A little bit of present" e "Convert". Nel 2020 uscì "Love Remains", seguito da "Hey", il cui video ha vinto il Premio alla Resilienza al Festival Internazionale Tulipani di Seta. Entrambi i brani sono inclusi nell'album d'esordio "The Turtle".
