Azzurra Lorenzini (Pisa, 1987 – December 17, 2019) was an Italian singer-songwriter. Since childhood, she cultivated a passion for singing, which allowed her to open up to the world and communicate her emotions. She began studying singing at the age of 21 and made her mark by participating in local and national competitions. In 2013 she tried out for X Factor, while in 2014 she attended the Castrocaro Academy, where she met musician Gianni Errera. Azzurra collaborated with Errera in various piano bar and karaoke evenings, discovering the joy of shared music. Together they organized local and national singing competitions such as “Una Voce Per Domani” and the national award “Musicarte”, in memory of Errera's father, Claudio Pelissier, who passed away from pleural cancer. In 2015 she performed at the Festival d’Europa in Florence and from 2016 to 2018 she hosted an afternoon program on Telegranducato, interviewing artists, politicians and prominent figures. In 2019 Gianni Errera dedicated a song to her that celebrated her life and musical gift. Azzurra Lorenzini passed away on December 17, 2019.
