Federica Caroppa è una cantautrice italiana nata a Manduria (Taranto) il 30 agosto 1993. Inizia a cantare all'età di quattro anni, partecipando a numerose competizioni locali fin da bambina. Nel 1999, a soli sei anni, vince la Rassegna Canora "Verdi Note" con un brano dello Zecchino d'Oro, replicando il successo l'anno successivo. Nel 2001, entra nella categoria giovani grazie alle sue vittorie consecutive e si aggiudica il terzo posto. Nel frattempo, scopre il mondo della musica popolare, formando un gruppo etnofolk con cui si esibisce in Puglia. Approfondisce questo settore con stage e masterclass sulle polivocalità, tra cui quelli con Lucilla Galeazzi ed Elena Ledda, alla "Notte della Taranta". Nel 2007 fonda il gruppo "TARANTAMIX world-music-folk-band", del quale è unica voce femminile. Con questo gruppo incide l'album "Alkìmie Salentine", prodotto dalla Phonotype Records di Napoli, che riscuote un notevole successo. Nel corso degli anni, collabora con artisti come Anna Tatangelo, Paola e Chiara, Linda, I Vernice e Francesco Facchinetti. Nel 2010 inizia a lavorare con il maestro Michele Marmo, incidendo un brano per SANREMO GIOVANI e collaborando alla realizzazione del suo singolo "L'UNICA RISPOSTA PER ME". Nel 2011 viene scelta dalla Provincia di Taranto come rappresentante per il canto nel progetto "D.O.N.O. -GIOVANI TALENTI IN TERRA JONICA", vincendo la partecipazione ad un empowerment con personalità del panorama musicale e dello spettacolo. Dal 2011 collabora con la MORAMORA PRODUCTIONS di New York, incidendo nuovi lavori discografici.
