Hanzo è un rapper italiano nato e cresciuto nella provincia di Bari. Sin dalla sua adolescenza si appassiona alla black music in tutte le sue forme, dal reggae ai posse fino all'hip hop. Negli anni '90 esplora anche generi come la musica elettronica e il rock crossover funk-metal, avvicinandosi per la prima volta al mondo della musica suonata. Inizia a scrivere rime insieme al suo socio Elmarsica, dando vita al gruppo "Frequenza Mista", con una line-up strumentale che lo porta a fare i primi concerti. Successivamente collabora con 7peccati, iniziando le sue prime produzioni musicali vere e proprie. Partecipa a importanti rassegne del genere, condividendo il palco con artisti internazionali come Wu-Tang Clan, Afu-ra, Group Home, Evidence, Das Efx e Refugee Camp (Wyclef Jean), oltre che con nomi italiani di spicco come Assalti Frontali, Cor Veleno, Kaos, Colle der Fomento, Bassi Maestro, Stokka, Madbuddy, Tormento e La Famiglia. Tra le sue produzioni musicali ricordiamo "FM" (2004), "TRASMISSIONI CLANDESTINE" (2006), "BBELVE" (2006), "SOUND BBELVE MIXTAPE" (2008) scaricabili gratuitamente su 7peccati.com, "TONY RUFFIANO e JONNY BARLETTA" (compilation 2009) uscito per SAIFAM Group/7peccati in tutti i negozi di dischi, "IL FIGLIO DELL'UOMO" (solo album 2010), "DYNAMIKE" (compilation 2011) e numerose altre collaborazioni con artisti locali e non. Hanzo si autodefinisce iconoclasta, blasfemo, miscredente o semplicemente provocatore; attualmente è al lavoro su diversi progetti.
