Luigi Libra is an Italian singer-songwriter born in Posillipo, Naples, in 1976. He began his musical career at the age of fifteen with the band he founded, "I sotto la pioggia". In 1996, he won the Revelation Award at the Festival of New Emerging Italian Musicians organized by CGD Music and Company with the song "Amore Maledetto". Subsequently, he participated in several editions of the Festival di Napoli, presenting songs such as "Piccerella", "Succedera'", "Battiti nel cuore" (performed by Sabrina Canzano) and "Ddoje Parole", the latter winning the Critics' Award at the VI edition of the festival. In 2001, he joined the cast of "Ci vediamo in tv" conducted by Paolo Limiti, performing songs from the classic Neapolitan repertoire. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Luciano Liguori, Gianfranco Caliendo, Tiziana Rivale, Peppino Di Capri and Albano. In 2012, he released "Luigi Libra Napoli Duets", an album featuring duets with some of the most important names in Italian music. In 2018, he launched "Terra Viva", a tribute to the vitality of Campania, followed in 2019 by the documentary film "Progetto Terra Viva". In 2022, he released the new single "Spettri". Among his most representative songs: "Amore Maledetto", "Ddoje Parole", "Voglio turnà a Marechiaro", "Amare di Meno" and "Terra Viva".
