Elena Cretella, known professionally as MALJE, is an Italian singer-songwriter and composer with a diverse musical background. Growing up in a music-loving family, she dedicated her life to vocal studies, exploring techniques such as resonance voices, quadriphonic singing, and Tuvan shamanic healing traditions. Her artistic career spans a wide range of collaborations, from jazz to theater. She has scored theatrical works by renowned authors like Shakespeare, Pirandello, and Euripides, and has shared the stage with prominent international jazz musicians such as Red Halloway, Shawn Monteiro, and Bobby Durham. Besides her musical activities, MALJE is a theatrical and musical producer, teaching voice use to singers, actors, and television personalities. Recently, she has ventured into industrial music collaborating with the group La Furnasetta, releasing three compilations, two of which for the British label Industrial Coast. In 2020, she made her debut as a singer with the single "The Game", followed by the album "Jewels" in 2021. Among her most representative songs are "Escamotage", "Share Love", and "The Game".
