Rosario Jermano (Napoli, 19 settembre 1954) è un percussionista e batterista italiano di grande fama. La sua carriera, durata oltre quarant'anni, si caratterizza per una profonda dedizione allo studio e alle performance dal vivo. Jermano ha studiato al Conservatorio di Napoli con Antonio Buonomo, perfezionando la batteria con Walter Scotti e Antonio Golino, e le congas con Karl Potter. Questa formazione multidisciplinare gli ha conferito una straordinaria versatilità nel campo delle percussioni. La sua carriera lo ha visto collaborare con alcuni dei più grandi artisti italiani e internazionali. Tra i suoi lavori più significativi, la collaborazione con Pino Daniele sin dagli esordi nel 1976, partecipando a album e tournée di grande successo. Dal 1981 collabora con Renato Zero, contribuendo a oltre 15 album e tournée in stadi e teatri. Ha lavorato anche con Fabrizio De André, Zucchero, Eros Ramazzotti, Gino Paoli, Ornella Vanoni, Fiorella Mannoia, Loredana Bertè, Edoardo Bennato e molti altri, partecipando a dischi storici e tournée internazionali. Come session-man e percussionista, ha contribuito a oltre 300 album e si è esibito in tournee in Europa, USA, Canada, Australia e Sud America. La sua presenza televisiva include programmi come Fantastico, Domenica In, Linea Blu e Io Canto. Come solista, Jermano ha pubblicato diversi album tra cui "Living in Percussion" (contenente "Nadir Dance", sigla di Linea Blu), "Stravagario", "Sueno" e più recentemente "Nouvelle Cuisine" (2019) e "Dance".
