Biography

Rossodiva is a musical duo formed by two sisters originally from the province of Mantua but with Neapolitan roots. Their journey began about a year and a half ago thanks to the X Factor auditions, where a judge decided to unite them forming a group among the 30 finalists in the Groups section. The older sister attended the Labo Musica di Modena for four years, by Silvia Mezzanotte, and it was she who started performing with her younger sister. It is thanks to her that they met Lele Barlera, a record producer with a small label in Poggio Rusco (Projects and surroundings). The younger sister had already performed in local venues and participated in several singing competitions, including the Festival del Garda, hosted on RTB Brescia and receiving recognition in the Gazzetta di Mantova. She won an important competition for the province linked to the AVIS project, meeting Lele Barlera. Together they started a project of original songs written by the older sister who had previously kept them in a drawer hoping to be able to realize them one day. In the summer of 2010 they reached the semi-finals at the Castrocaro Music Festival and a few months later they found themselves in the final stage of X Factor (Groups section with Enrico Ruggeri), finishing third among many aspiring artists. They have been guests on several local radio stations, including Radio Padania, Radio Vera, Radio Alfa and Radio Manerba International. They also performed as opening act for rapper Mondo Marcio in a Brescian venue. They have collaborated in the House music world and are currently promoting their songs by participating in various competitions and events, hoping for new collaborations and projects.
