Quasi è un gruppo indie rock formatosi a Portland, Oregon nel 1993. Il duo fondatore è composto da Sam Coomes (voce, chitarra, Rocksichord, tastiere varie) e Janet Weiss (voce, batteria), ex coniugi che hanno collaborato anche in altri progetti musicali. Nel 2007 si aggiunge alla formazione la bassista Joanna Bolme, già attiva come turnista con il gruppo nel 2006. Quasi è noto per un sound sperimentale ed eclettico, mescolando elementi di rock alternativo, noise pop e psichedelia. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Great Escape", "Rock 'n' Roll Star" e "American Standard".
