Clandestine Blaze is a Finnish one-man black metal project formed in 1998 by Mikko Aspa in Lahti. Aspa cites Darkthrone, Burzum, Beherit and Bathory as key influences. Besides Clandestine Blaze, Aspa is also the vocalist for the French black metal band Deathspell Omega and collaborates with numerous other musical projects including Stabat Mater, Creamface, Fleshpress, AM, Grunt, Clinic of Torture, Alchemy of the 20th Century and Nicole 12. His sound is characterized by a dark and atmospheric atmosphere, with influences from classic black metal and ambient music.
