Clandestine Blaze è un progetto black metal finlandese nato nel 1998 da Mikko Aspa a Lahti. Aspa cita Darkthrone, Burzum, Beherit e Bathory come influenze chiave. Oltre a Clandestine Blaze, Aspa è anche il vocalist del gruppo francese Deathspell Omega e collabora con numerosi altri progetti musicali tra cui Stabat Mater, Creamface, Fleshpress, AM, Grunt, Clinic of Torture, Alchemy of the 20th Century e Nicole 12. Il suo sound si caratterizza per un'atmosfera cupa e atmosferica, con influenze provenienti dal black metal classico e dalla musica ambient.
