A-ha is a Norwegian pop group formed in Oslo in 1982 by Morten Harket (vocals), Paul Waaktaar-Savoy (guitar) and Magne Furuholmen (keyboards). After starting their career in Norway, the trio moved to London to seek new opportunities. A-ha reached the peak of international success with the single "Take On Me", released in 1985, which became a global phenomenon thanks to its innovative animated music video. The group continued to release successful albums in the following years, consolidating their position as one of the most influential pop bands of the 1980s and 1990s.
