Giuni Russo (1951-1987) è stata una cantautrice italiana di grande talento, nota per la sua voce potente e il suo stile musicale unico che fonde elementi di musica popolare napoletana, jazz e rock. Nata a Napoli, Giuni ha iniziato la sua carriera negli anni '70, collaborando con artisti come Pino Daniele e Franco Battiato. Il suo debutto discografico è avvenuto nel 1978 con l'album "Napoli che canta". Giuni Russo è stata una figura importante nella musica italiana degli anni '80, grazie a brani iconici come "Morirò d'amore", "Se fossi più simpatica sarei meno antipatica" e "Le più belle canzoni".
