Franco Califano (Roma, 8 luglio 1939 – Roma, 14 agosto 2013) è stato un cantautore e attore italiano. Considerato uno dei cantautori più importanti della musica italiana, Califano ha segnato la scena musicale degli anni '60 e '70 con il suo stile unico che mescolava elementi di rock, pop e canzone d'autore. Nato a Roma da una famiglia modesta, Califano iniziò la sua carriera come cantante in locali romani prima di essere notato da un produttore discografico. Il suo debutto discografico avvenne nel 1965 con l'album "Franco Califano", che conteneva il brano "Non ho paura".
