MxPx is a punk rock band formed in 1992 in Bremerton, Washington. The trio consisting of Mike Herrera (vocals and guitar), Yuri Ruley (guitar) and Andy Husted (drums) began their career during high school. The band was noticed by Tooth and Nail Records and released their debut album, *Pokinatcha*, in 1994. MxPx achieved great success in the 1990s and 2000s with an energetic and melodic pop-punk sound. Some of their most famous songs include "Chick Magnet", "Responsibility" and "The Maxx". The album *Before the Bombs Drop* from 1998 is considered one of their most important works.
