King Creosote, real name Kenny Anderson, is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his acoustic folk style characterized by poetic lyrics and melancholic atmospheres. Born in Fife in 1965, Anderson began his musical career in the 1980s with local bands before adopting the alias King Creosote in 1992. His work is often inspired by the Scottish landscape, folklore stories, and his travels around the world.
