Biografia

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso is an Italian progressive rock band active since 1969. Founded in Rome by Vittorio De Scalzi, the group gained popularity in the 1970s with albums like "...E non si muove" (1972) and "Darwin" (1974), characterized by complex arrangements, poetic lyrics and jazz influences. Among their most famous songs are "La mia banda suona il rock", "L'uomo che amava le stelle" and "Il canto del vento". After a hiatus in the 1980s, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso resumed musical activity with new albums and concerts. Vittorio De Scalzi remains the central figure of the group, collaborating with various musicians over the years.
