Ivano Fossati (Genova, May 27, 1951) is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician and composer. Considered one of the most important singer-songwriters in Italian music of the 1980s and 1990s, Fossati stands out for his introspective poetry, catchy melodies and the use of original arrangements that blend folk, rock and jazz elements.
