Il settantunesimo Festival di Sanremo si è svolto al teatro Ariston di Sanremo dal 2 al 6 marzo 2021 con la conduzione, per il secondo anno consecutivo, di Amadeus, il quale è stato anche il direttore artistico. Per il secondo anno consecutivo la direzione musicale è stata affidata a Leonardo de Amicis, il quale ha anche diretto l'orchestra, mentre la regia è stata curata ancora una volta a Stefano Vicario. La scenografia è stata disegnata da Gaetano Castelli e Maria Chiara Castelli. Le coreografie sono state curate da Franco Miseria.
