Cornershop è una band indie rock britannica formatasi a Leicester nel 1991 da Tjinder Singh (cantante, compositore e chitarrista), nato a Wolverhampton, suo fratello Avtar Singh (basso e voce), David Chambers (batteria) e Ben Ayres (chitarra, tastiere e tamboura). I primi tre erano stati membri della band General Havoc, con sede a Preston, che aveva pubblicato un singolo nel 1991.
