Gojira is a French progressive metal band formed in Bayonne in 1996. Originally called Godzilla, the group changed its name in 2001. The current lineup consists of Joe Duplantier (vocals and rhythm guitar), his brother Mario Duplantier (drums), Christian Andreu (lead guitar) and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass).
