Destruction è una band tedesca di thrash metal, considerata uno dei "tre re" della scena thrash metal teutonica, insieme a Kreator e Sodom. Tutte e tre le band sono spesso accreditate di aver contribuito a pionierare il death metal, contenendo diversi elementi che sarebbero diventati caratteristiche del genere.
