Jason Becker (nato il 22 luglio 1969) è un chitarrista e compositore neoclassico americano. All'età di sedici anni, è entrato a far parte del duo Cacophony, prodotto da Mike Varney, con il suo amico Marty Friedman. Il gruppo ha pubblicato *Speed Metal Symphony* nel 1987 e *Go Off!* nel 1988. Cacophony si è sciolto nel 1989 e Becker ha iniziato a lavorare come solista, pubblicando il suo primo album *Perpetual Burn* nello stesso anno. Successivamente si è unito alla band di David Lee Roth e ha registrato un album con lui.
