Marco Casalaina è un cantautore, musicista e compositore nato a Roma il 29/08/1983. Appassionato di musica fin da bambino, esordisce live con la sua prima band nel 1997 in un indimenticabile concerto liceale, ed è in questo periodo che matura l'idea di fare della musica la sua vita. Sono i suoni del quartiere romano in cui è cresciuto, quelli delle strade e della città ad ispirare un percorso iniziato dal basso e lastricato di diversi generi musicali, tuttavia fatti propri. Nel 2010 diventa cantante, compositore e paroliere degli "EverLoud", rock band della scena Underground Romana, che vanta numerose esibizioni in Roma e dintorni. È stato organizzatore e direttore artistico della manifestazione musicale "Labaro Rock 2018". Tra le diverse esperienze, ha collaborato con Cristina d'Avena aprendo il suo tour a Marina di Castagneto nel giugno 2016. Vince, in data 4 ottobre 2015, il Romics Song Contest quale voce maschile. Ha frequentato il Saint Louis College of music di Roma, dove è stato allievo, fra i tanti, di Nina Pedersen (canto Jazz) e di Pierluca Buonfrate (canto pop). Ha vinto, nel maggio 2006 la borsa di studio, in qualità di cantante pop, per partecipare al laboratorio di alta formazione "Roma Electric Orchestra". Nel 2020, durante la pausa di riflessione cui tutti siamo stati costretti a causa della pandemia, ricomincia a scrivere, questa volta in italiano, questa volta per sé stesso e prende forma il progetto "Casalayna" che mette a nudo la persona fatta di luci e ombre attraverso i suoi ricordi ed esperienze dando voce alle storie di tanti che vivono attraverso la musica degli invisibili. Tra Maggio e Luglio 2021 registra i primi 6 brani che non vedono l'ora di uscire dal cassetto!
