The Management Del Dolore Post Operatorio is an Italian musical group formed in Lanciano (Chieti) in 2010. The quartet, composed of Luca Romagnoli (vocals), Marco Di Nardo (guitar), Andrea Paone (bass) and Nicola Ceroli (drums), defines itself as "Poetic Provincials" and proposes a musical genre that blends elements of alternative rock, punk and songwriting. Their philosophy, born after a car accident involving the group members, revolves around the idea that the only alternative to pain is pleasure in all its forms. Their music is characterized by ironic and angry lyrics, which address themes such as contemporary society, politics and everyday life. The Management Del Dolore Post Operatorio has achieved considerable success in the Italian independent music scene, winning numerous musical competitions including Italia Wave, Primo Maggio Tutto l'Anno and Il Rock è Tratto. In 2010 they participated in the UPLOAD festival in Bolzano, selected by the jury led by Cristiano Godano of Marlene Kuntz as representatives of Italy at the POPKOMM in Berlin. They also won the "Production Award" at MArteLive 2010 and joined the roster of the MArteLabel record label. In 2011 they released their official debut album "AUFF!", produced by Manuele "Max Stirner" Fusaroli (Zen Circus, Luci della centrale elettrica, Nada, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Teatro degli Orrori). Among the most representative songs of the group are "Nei Palazzi", "La Rivolta dei Sogni", "L'Uomo che Amava le Nuvole" and "Il Canto del Dolore Post Operatorio".
