Overcoma is a musical project born in 2015 from the idea of founder, author and vocalist Salvo Alfieri. The group stands out for its sonic experimentation, drawing on the sounds of the '90s and anticipating the chaotic rock movement in the Italian music scene. The first work, the EP "Overcoma", was released in January 2016. Throughout 2016, Overcoma makes itself known in the independent Italian environment, opening for Katma in Rome in January 2017 and recording a live album with Angelo Pucci (Katma), "Overcoma live at Rome 2017". After signing with Ciaor Records, the group faces changes in formation and begins recording the album "Ambrosia", released on February 19, 2018. The promotional tour of "Ambrosia" takes them all over Italy (over 100 dates) until June 2018, when they are selected for the Sanremo Rock finals at the Ariston, finishing 60th out of 150 bands. In 2019, Salvo Alfieri moves to Florence and collaborates with Leandro Bruno on bass. Together they complete the second part of the Ambrosia Tour 2019 and participate in the "Roma Distorta Festival" alongside Katma and Soul Dragger. In May 2019, they begin a collaboration with Visory Records and Sony Music for future productions, recording the second EP "Gloaming", scheduled for release at the end of October of the same year.
