Philippe Jaroussky (nato il 13 febbraio 1978 a Maisons-Laffitte, Francia) è un controtenore francese di fama internazionale. Inizialmente si dedicò al violino, vincendo premi al Conservatorio di Versailles, prima di passare al pianoforte e infine alla musica vocale. Jaroussky è noto per la sua tecnica virtuosistica coloratura e per le interpretazioni coinvolgenti e animate di cantate e opere barocche. Il suo stile ha contribuito al rinnovato interesse per la musica antica nel mondo musicale contemporaneo. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "S'amor non è cosa mia" da "L'Orfeo" di Claudio Monteverdi, "Ombra mai fu" da "Serse" di Georg Friedrich Händel e "Lascia ch'io pianga" da "Rinaldo" sempre di Händel.
