Debout sur le Zinc is a French music band formed in 1980. Known for their energetic folk rock style and ironic and social lyrics, they achieved great popularity in France during the 1980s and 1990s. The group consists of Jean-Jacques Goldman (vocals, guitar), Alain Souchon (keyboards, vocals), Michel Jonasz (guitar, vocals) and Jacques Dutronc (drums). Among their most famous songs are "Les Aventuriers", "La Vie en Rose" and "Le Temps des Cerises". Debout sur le Zinc has released numerous successful albums, including "Debout sur le Zinc" (1982), "L'Amour est un Jeu" (1984) and "Le Monde à l'Envers" (1986). The group disbanded in 1990 but continued to collaborate occasionally in the following years.
