The Punkreas are an Italian punk rock band formed in San Lorenzo di Parabiago, near Milan, in 1989. Considered one of the most representative groups of the Italian punk movement of the '90s, they contributed to spreading punk culture throughout Italy with their energetic concerts and songs rich in social and political content. Their sound is characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, fast rhythms and direct lyrics that address themes such as youthful alienation, social disillusionment and criticism of the system. Among their most representative songs are «No Future», «My City» and «Without Words».
