Lion hearted

(Statik Selektah)

Never judge a book by its cover
With the concealed weapon
That's a rookie in the fields steppin' on landmines
It's sorta chills kept in a pine box
Ether my flows rewind clocks
Back of wrist ahead of his timing, I'm tryna find doc's
Laboratory to hotwire his Delorean
The 40 in the fridge pour with your story and it's nothing to an historian
Stupid
You don't want the smoke
It's like Snoop lit a joint in the coupe with Dr. Dre bumping Chronic a block away
They tried to trap the dragon in a House of Cards
Spittin' fire to make the bouncer pounce the guards
Then I brainstorm so I can douse the yards
How could you hardly tell the angels got me well but it's ungodly hell
I know the leader of your squad is oddly frail and I'll provide detail
I poke holes through his facade, just run the sword inside the side until the body fell
While dropping flawless gems you lookin' for the screw-ups with your chest poked out
Arms through the bra straps with two cups, duke
I bring that out you when I'm painting with the darker texture
It could spark an uzi or spark a lecture
Can't wait to park the Lex or
Mercedes Benz in the two car garage beneath the house with the matching architecture
When I spoke this I blacked out who I'm sonnin'
That's very locas
And bugged out like Egypt with the locusts
A Moses staff against the hocus pocus
From the brokest to the richest
I spit glitches in your matrix causing damage that you can't fix

How could you possibly top me? Them poppers is choppy, look—
I got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion
I got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion
I got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion
How could you possibly top me? Them poppers is choppy, look—
I got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion
I got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion
Got-got a flow like there's no tomorrow, heart of a lion

Even if you net probably never know
To send a hit, get a quotable
Nothin' personal but I don't want to have to feel shit standing over you
You never touched shit that don't belong to you
How many bodies you got, more than you
Should I speak or niggas know the truth
You not a killer nigga unless it's more than two
Same niggas that I run the school with nowadays doing home improvement
Ten to two man with the streets
Swear to God it make me fuckin' lose it
You must got it confused with the music
All these rap niggas counterfeit
BB King, I up and blues it
Spazz out everybody strip
You too, bitch, take that shit off
You better not flinch your cup
Ain't even make it to his prom but we gon' send him off in fashion
Spin him off and smash 'em
Take him off the map after we rinse him off and splash 'em
My niggas cross the track, nah, we ain't giving out no passes
That key that you got robbed for, shit ain't cost more than my glasses
Then he tucked the pole he'd rather toss it fore he pass
You see me on parole just know it's God shit if I flash it (Mafia, what else?)
