Ashton Fletcher Irwin (Sydney, July 7, 1994) is an Australian singer and musician. Known for being the drummer and co-writer of songs for the pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, he launched his solo career in 2020 with the album "Superbloom". Irwin was musically trained from a young age, learning to play drums at the age of six. In 2011, along with his friends Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, he founded 5 Seconds of Summer, who quickly achieved international success thanks to their energetic pop-punk sound and engaging live performances. Irwin is known for his solid drumming technique and catchy melodies. Besides "Superbloom", he has released other solo albums like "So Much For Growing Up" (2019) and "The Other Side of Paradise" (2023).
