Ashton Fletcher Irwin (Sydney, July 7, 1994) is an Australian singer and musician. Known for being the drummer and co-writer of songs for the pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, he launched his solo career in 2020 with the album "Superbloom". Irwin was musically trained from a young age, learning to play drums at the age of six. In 2011, along with his friends Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, he founded 5 Seconds of Summer, who quickly achieved international success thanks to their energetic pop-punk sound and engaging live performances.
