Timmy went out to play
With the friends he made
Why did they send him away
He drove his mommy mad
His daddy he ran
They didn¹t understand
Now he gazes his cold nights through
Reliving all of the things he¹s do
If he only had another chance
If that was all he had
His tension life
He beats the wife
Doused the cat with gasoline
He¹s rather try
The other side
He just has to get away
That¹s when it all began
Timmy lost his mind
Was just a matter of time
Before he went crazy
Mentally yours (8 times)
Running wild
Cause that¹s his style
Can¹t be held by any cage
Crossed the line
The final time
Cause tonight he takes his stage
Mentally yours (8 times)
Savatage is an American heavy metal band formed in Tampa, Florida, in the early 1980s. The founding members were brothers Jon Oliva (vocals and keyboards) and Criss Oliva (guitar), along with drummer Steve "Doc" Wacholz. The band quickly gained a solid fan base in Florida and released their debut album, *Sirens*, in 1983. The following year, Savatage signed with Atlantic Records and in 1985 they released their major-label debut, *Power of the Night*, which marked a turning point in their career. After their first significant tour, bassist Johnny Lee Middleton joined the band in late 1985, completing the definitive lineup. Savatage is known for its epic and melodic sound, influenced by progressive rock and classical music. Some of their most representative songs include *Power of the Night*, *Hall of the Mountain King* and *When the Crowds Are Gone*.
