My momma always told me
That I could do anything I want
So I'm about to change up
I set myself some new goals, just watch
Ah, ah, ah
Everybody wants to be the one on the throne (On the throne)
But don't nobody want to be somebody alone (Nah, nah)
I think I'll put down the bottle, I'm gon' lay off the smoke (Chill out with that)
My momma always told me
Take care of your shit (Hey)
Live your life (I'm livin' my life, livin' my life)
Take care of your shit (Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh)
Shine your light (I'm shinin' my light, shinin' my light, ooh woah-oh)
I woke up with the sunrise
Today's gone a good day, good God (Good God)
Yeah, I'm about to change up (Oh, baby)
I swear I'm gonna do right, just watch (Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, baby)
Woo
Everybody wants to be the on? on the throne (On the thron?)
But don't nobody want to be somebody alone (Nah, nah)
I think I'll put down the bottle, I'm gon' lay off the smoke (Chill out with that)
My momma always told me (What she say? What she say?)
Take care of your shit (Hey)
Live your life (I'm livin' my life, livin' my life)
Take care of your shit (Oh, oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh)
Shine your light (Woo)
Ah, alright
Uh, woo
That's right ladies and gentlemen
This is yours truly Mike Posner (Oh)
We 'bout to bring this thing back
Ah, alright (Hey)
Shout out to my little cousin Matthew
He just had his bar mitzvah
Here we go
Take care of your shit (Take care of your shit; yeah, ah)
Live your life (I'm livin' my life, livin' my life)
Take care of your shit (Yeah, yeah, babe; woo-woo)
Shine your light (I'm shinin' my light)
Take care of your shit (I'm livin' my life, babe; what up, Jay John?)
Live your life (I'm livin' my life)
Take care of your shit (Yeah)
Shine your light (I'm shinin' my light)
