A song of truth and beauty for you
In the bigger scheme of things
We haven't been around here more than a moment
And yet too many, it seems,
Believe we are creating a brand new world around us--
We are creating a brand new world without us
Maybe it really is okay,
Although we're digging our own graves at this moment
If we should all just disappear
The skies and waters will clear in a world without us
And there's no place like home
There's no place like home
There's no place like home
To return to
We push against the rest of life
As if we can survive without the world around us
Can't have a rainbow without the rain
Can't have a painting without the pain
Can't have a lover walk out
Without the love leaving with them
There's no place like home
No place like home
To return to
And there's no place like home
There's no place like home
There's no place like home
To return to
And there's no place like home
There's no place like home
There's no place like home
To return to
Devo is an American new wave/post punk band known for their surreal and satirical sense of humor and kitsch sci-fi image. Their debut album, *Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!* (1978), produced by Brian Eno, was critically acclaimed. Despite their off-the-wall antics, Devo achieved a Top 20 hit in 1980 with "Whip It", which also enjoyed success thanks to its video on MTV. Devo's wacky synth-pop attracted a cult following and for a short time was influential, but the band proved to be a one-trick pony who weren't capable of much progression. After their output ground to a halt in the early 90s, the members pursued other projects: co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh being the most successful, composing soundtracks for films such as *Rushmore* and *The Royal Tenenbaums*.

My favorite group when I was just a teenager were the Fugees, thanks to them a certain curiosity about english language was born in me. I wanted to know and understand the lyrics of their songs, it wasn't enough for me to be carried away exclusively by their beautiful music.
Sweden and the United States are two countries far from each other, thousands of kilometers separate them, the language, culinary and sporting traditions, I don't feel so categorical about the landscapes, not knowing all of America there may be states that have the same reliefs of the country of northern Europe, but on one thing I am sure
